WORK LIVE DESIGN COMMUNITY

My 2018-2019 architectural thesis focuses on where people tend to spend 90% of their time-- at work or at home. The way that people are "working" is ever changing from closed offices, to corner offices, to now open offices and collaborative spaces like Weeworks and Spaces. This is a work-live community for anyone in the design profession ranging from architects, to musicians, to graphic designers, to performance artists. This community's goal is to cultivate a creative and collaborative epicenter in Brooklyn, New York.

This is a master brewing complex in Roanoke, VA, which is an up and coming city bringing in foot traffic because of their different microbrews and craft breweries. This center houses a brew hall that is open to the public, residencies on the upper floors for the students studying to become master brewers, education facilities, and a brew lab for the production and study of the beer and brewing process.

MKT DESIGN: MELROSE COMMUNITY REVIVAL PROJECT

This is a group project with my 4th year student firm: MKT DEsign. Our goal with this project is to revive and intertwine the Melrose, VA culture back into the community. This neighborhood is seen as just a "pass-through" along Route 11, and the community wanted that to change. This town-center we designed was to bring light, productive activity, and communal gathering space back.
